Before their Hall was built in 1885, Druids of the West Marin coast gathered at Hotel Olema (1876) and then at The Schoolhouse (1883). Now these three remarkable places of history make up a collective, simply named, The Olema.
Hotel Olema lays claim to the most delicious experience of the area; it holds not only rooms, but a remarkable restaurant: Sir and Star. The Druid’s Hall likewise offers something wondrous. The gracefully beautiful building rivals the magic of the main house of Pierce Point Ranch . That house is the architectural queen of The Point Reyes National Seashore. The Hall is the stately sentinel at its gateway.
Its members gathered at The Druid’s Hall to celebrate their collective love of nature and of the land.
